In my time on the Spanish Fork City Council, I’ve supported projects that improve quality of life, meet long-term needs, and make smart use of taxpayer dollars. That doesn’t always mean taking the easy road—but it does mean making the right calls when it counts.

I supported the modest property tax increase that helped launch this long-overdue facility—because I believe cities are judged by what they choose to invest in.

WHY I STOOD
BEHIND IT:
- Our old pool and facilities were beyond repair.
- Families needed access to fitness and recreation without
leaving town.
- Seniors deserved a
dedicated space.
- The majority of funding came from sales tax, RAP tax, and impact fees.
- The increase was small—less than $5/month for most households.

- Backed upgrades to roads, utilities, and water infrastructure that most people never see—but rely on every day
- Pushed for long-term planning to reduce traffic impact as we grow
